"The food is good. The service is excellent. Enjoyed every dish we received. The price is a little on the higher end, but what do you expect for seafood? I like the way they presented the platter with the oysters and other items.

Also, the view is nice. Depending on where you're sitting. If you get a seat looking to the sea, you get a nice view of the watercress farm!"

"I've been coming here for 4 years, enjoying MBC's awesome happy hour specials and delicious pupus. When my sister visits me, she always requests that we make at least one trip here, where we always have a blast. I love to get a big beer or a mai tai with an order of the crab and artichoke dip. So ono! The calamari & nachos are good picks too, and in the mornings I'll get a plate of eggs, Portuguese sausage, and hash browns. Yum yum! Much better than when I order the same at Zippy's. Only reason for 4 stars is that the food isn't out of this world, especially when you start getting away from the pupus and start ordering the entrees. But I promise, you can't go wrong with that crab and artichoke dip! Sit at the bar and hope that Karen is your server, because she's da best!"

"I've been going to Monterey Bay Canners Pearl Ridge for a few years mostly for breakfast.
The staff is friendly and service is good. Portions are just right. My wife thinks the fried rice is excellent, I'm not a big eater of fried rice. For breakfast I usually get hash browns, always good. The breakfast meats offered are the usual except no Spam a little disappointing as I am a big fan."

"My husband and I just came here tonight and had a great experience! They have $1.50 margs from 4-6 every day(!!!!!) and a lot of other great happy hour deals. We got the Monterey sampler which was really good! Oysters were big and tasted good. Only thing I would say is they should have saltines since a lot of people like to eat their oysters with crackers. But seriously, this place is great. And our waitress was great! We will be back for trivia Monday's! :)"
